I'm offering long-term expertise for the implementation of cross-platform insurance processes with the usage of common architectural standards, especially in the SAP for insurance area.
A deep understanding of all areas of the insurance enterprise and the supervisory requirements (eiopa guidelines, Versicherungsaufsichtsrechtliche Anforderungen an die IT - VAIT, Digital Operational Resilience Act - DORA, Solvency, IFRS, etc.), for the creation of an IT strategy and a general concept for your insurance implementation.

A comprehensive strategy is fundamental for getting your ICT systems from the current state to the desired target state and to govern your transformation project. An ICT strategy is part of the architecture vision and created, to solve actual business problems with developments in your IT systems, by assigning responsibilities and creating a budget for them.
During implementation projects, the project is responsible to analyse the business process and specifying how to implement them with new technology and this especially includes the architecture transformation. The creation of an insurance product framework, to steer your core insurance systems with the insurance product definition, is one of the major tasks during this architecture transformation and yet it is the most neglected area during transformation projects.
A survey about product development by the Society of Actuaries underlines this and states that even companies with a strong development process, are having difficulties maintaining the downstream systems: “We have a very strong implementation process. It is a large effort due to the large number of systems that get involved … a lot of downstream work …It’s really all in the upfront part that is more within our product development area that we can have more control over.”
